nVent is seeking a Quality Technician (Receiving Inspection) for the 1st shift at our Blaine, MN site. The role focuses on QA support, root cause analysis, and driving improvements in product and process quality.

You will perform inspections, contribute to data collection, and help ensure customer satisfaction through robust quality programs. Based at our Blaine facility, with onboarding at Blaine/Anoka, you will collaborate with Operations, Supply, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design to

Competenze

• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and process documents.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, paint mill gauges).
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO procedures preferred.
• Ability to interpret order requirements, drawings and data.
• Strong root-cause analysis and corrective action skills.

Mansioni

• Provide quality assurance support and lead root cause problem solving to improve quality levels.
• Lead problem solving for product and manufacturing processes with QA Engineer support.
• Perform process validations and in-process inspections; monitor quality metrics.
• Support design, manufacturing and quality engineering with data collection and analysis.
• Train personnel to adhere to QMS standards and assist internal ISO audits.
