Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions seeks a Quality Engineer II – CNC Machining to lead hands-on quality support on the shop floor, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across CNC machining, assembly and testing. The role collaborates with inspectors, operators and engineering to improve inspection techniques, implement 8D/Lean tools, and ensure products meet specifications and budgeted goals.

You will develop inspection processes, participate in CAPA, analyze data with GD&T and FMEA

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a mechanical manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on shop floor support with inspectors, operators and teams.
• Strong background in process improvement, troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality inspection techniques for new product lines and study requirements.
• Coordinate manufacturing launches of new/revised products; train team members.
• Evaluate existing processes to identify improvements, cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Lead CAPA projects using 8D, Lean tools like Value-Stream Mapping.
• Work with engineering using data to prevent future issues; utilize GD&T, DOE, DFM, FMEAs.
