Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist II to operate and maintain CNC machinery with precision. You will perform complex setups, inspect parts, adjust programs, and participate in troubleshooting to uphold quality standards.

This onsite role emphasizes teamwork with programmers and engineers to keep production flowing efficiently. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a 2-year technical certification.

Qualifications

Requires solid understanding of CNC operations and complex setups.
Performs quality inspections with precision instruments to verify dimensions.
Grants tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments per specs and production needs.
Performs routine and preventive maintenance of CNC machines and reports malfunctions.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce components and monitor processes.
Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
Make tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments per requirements.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines.
Troubleshoot machine issues and quality problems, implementing corrective actions.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Document production records, part counts, machine logs, and QC data.
Collaborate with CNC programmers and engineers to optimize processes.
