Job summary

Productive Resources is seeking a Quality Engineer II for our East Moline, IL facility. The role focuses on quality planning, control, and improvement to support product development, manufacturing engineering, and supplier quality, ensuring Deere-related products meet customer expectations.

The candidate will apply quality tools within EPDP, EOFP, and CSP processes and collaborate with suppliers to integrate quality planning across the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; data analytics considered.
  • Experience applying quality tools in product development and manufacturing.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects affecting safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems to ensure product conformance to standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and supplier quality to address issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Utilize SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT for engineering functions.

Job description

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customers facility in East Moline, IL. As a member of our team, the right candidate will be a Quality Engineer II who will provide quality planning, control, and improvement support for product development teams, manufacturing engineering, supply management, and manufacturing and/or distribution organizations to ensure John Deere product quality meets the customers' expectations. This includes the application of quality tools within the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP) and Customer Support Process (CSP). Also supports application of quality tools with key suppliers as an integral element of quality planning.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional

opportunities within our organization.

Duties:
  • Identifyand implement continuous improvement projectsimpactingsafety, quality, efficiency, and cost improvements.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure that products meet established quality standards and customer requirements throughout the production and delivery processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, operations, and supplier quality, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with SAP,MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work off shifts, overtime, and weekends if needed.
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with production teams and external suppliers.
  • A self-starter with the ability to execute a variety of tasks.
  • Experience in one ormore related engineering areas: industrial, reliability, design, manufacturing, or quality.
  • Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases.
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous shop floor experience working in a union environment.
  • Experience withCVML, torque tooling, or other mistake proofing tools.
  • Experience with JDAAT coding and other MES systems (SAP, Ignition,etc).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Creo View software.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, data analytics,or equivalent related work experience. Others may apply.
