Job summary

John Deere is seeking a candidate for the Engineering Development Program in Product Engineering.   • Desired cumulative GPA 3.0+ (4.0 scale); minimum 2.8.

Your Responsibilities

The Engineering Development Program (EDP) in Product Engineering provides entry-level engineers an opportunity to gather experiences and exposures throughout John Deere. It provides rotational opportunities to develop an understanding of John Deere's products and services and establish a network of people to support personal and professional growth. The program gives recent engineering graduates three experiences over a two year period. The eight-month rotations include assignments in areas like Controls & Simulation, Drivetrain, Electronics, Embedded Software, Engines, Structures - all possible at various John Deere locations.


Possible Locations: Georgia (Grovetown), Illinois (Moline), Iowa (Davenport, Des Moines, Dubuque, Ottumwa, Waterloo), North Carolina (Cary, Fuquay-Varina), Wisconsin (Horicon)

Education


  • Currently pursuing or recent college graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 through August 2027

  • Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
