This is a hands-on position. You will be working with production, quality, and engineering, and are responsible for the quality of your assigned program.**Essential Job Functions:*** Become familiar with customer Specific Quality System Requirements including the customer specific portal.* Act as liaison with external parties (customer & supplier) on matters relating to assigned product.* Head all APQP efforts, responsible for reviewing and updating as needed.* Process flow diagrams.* Process control plans.* Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis plans.* Manufacturing work instructions.* Quality Inspection instructions.* Error proofing effectiveness.* Internally collected variable and attribute data.* BOM accuracy.* Responsible for managing customer issues.* Internal product sorts / quality alerts.* Interim corrective actions.* Permanent corrective actions.* Answering to the customer on any concerns/issues they have, including written and verbal.* Train employees to quality issues as needed.* Develop, document, and provide for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, production, and quality through layered process auditing and scrap reduction.* Read and Interpret GD & T and applying that knowledge as needed.* Perform Problem-solving Techniques.* Perform Process Capabilities using Statistical Techniques as needed.* Be familiar with supplier PPAP’s and procedures.* Supports IATF16949 and ISO14001 initiatives.* Perform other related duties as required and assigned.**Requirements:*** Four year degree required and 10-15 years of quality and/or quality engineering experience in the Automotive Industry.* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.* Must possess strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to resolve conflicts and to hand issues involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.*If you enjoy innovation, and an opportunity to learn and contribute to a growing organization, CSP is the place for you!*
