Job summary

CSP in Van Wert, Ohio, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality department, establish standards, and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure compliant processes and products.

The role requires managing quality programs, tracking customer and supplier quality issues, and delivering KPI reports. You will chair Quality Review meetings, uphold safety, and mentor lab personnel to uphold CSP’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Experience leading a quality department and Quality Assurance programs.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, and IATF 16949 standards.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and track Quality department goals and objectives.
• Determine Quality department standards, practices, and procedures.
• Establish and maintain product Quality Standards.
• Track external customer Quality issues, i.e., concerns, rejections, PPM, and 8D problem solving.
• Track internal customer Quality issues, i.e., Rejection Tags and Process Alerts.
• Track supplier Quality issues and performance.
• Work with Engineering to develop project launch strategy, capital needs, program timing in support of APQP, PPAP, MSA and IATF16949 requirements.
• Develop short- and long-term strategy to support customer requirements.
• Manage safety as an equal to other key functions.
• Monitor departmental action items to ensure timely correction of issues.
