Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Quality Engineer I to implement the Parker Quality Process and ensure products and processes meet defined quality standards and customer expectations. The role handles structured tasks with guidance, performing inspections, and supporting site projects to improve quality performance.

The incumbent will drive containment, assist in root-cause analysis, and collaborate across functions to ensure compliance with quality systems and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience translating customer and regulatory requirements into site-level quality plans and controls.
• Familiarity with Parker PQP tools and quality procedures; able to drive corrective actions for gaps.
• Experience leading containment strategy, root cause investigations, and CAPA implementation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer, regulatory, and Parker PQP requirements; translate to site-level quality plans, controls, acceptance criteria.
• Own deployment and governance of PQP tools; drive corrective actions for gaps; develop FMEAs, Control Plans, and related documentation.
• Manage inspection reporting and data integrity; log nonconformances; generate routine quality reports; oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Lead containment strategy and CAPA selection; ensure verification of actions with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze site quality performance using SPC and KPI dashboards; support audits and readiness for customer/regulatory/ISO audits.
