Job summary

Regal Rexnord's Main Street location in Radford, VA is seeking a Quality Engineer I to drive continuous improvement across product lines, aiming for customer quality below 2,500 PPM and first pass yield above 92%.

You will lead Kaizen events, develop assembly documentation, and apply Lean methods such as Poka-Yoke, FMEA and Visual Management to prevent defects and boost productivity. This onsite, full-time role emphasizes training and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of customers, employees and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and implement quality improvement plans to meet targeted performance goals.
• Maintain technical knowledge in quality and lean manufacturing to maximize productivity and cost efficiency.
• Initiate and monitor corrective and preventative actions; enforce quality standards.
