iWorkforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and suppliers. You will lead investigations, define quality plans, and monitor KPIs to prevent defects and optimize outcomes.
The role requires a mechanical/industrial/electrical engineering background, 2–5+ years in quality disciplines, and experience with AS9100 or QMS.
The Quality Engineer ensures that products, processes, and systems meet defined standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role drives continuous improvement, leads root-cause investigations, and partners closely with engineering, operations, and suppliers to prevent defects and optimize quality outcomes.
Location: On-site
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Salary Range: $92,000 – $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards.
Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and FMEA.
Perform process capability studies, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making to improve product quality.
Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and quality are built into new products (PFMEA, control plans).
Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 or other relevant quality standards.
Develop inspection criteria, test methods, and quality documentation.
Support production teams with troubleshooting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Review specifications and customer requirements to ensure ERP systems meet all quality criteria, and handle concession requests.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, yield, scrap, and customer complaints to drive action plans.
Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve incoming material quality.
Champion a strong culture of quality across the entire organization.
