HDT is seeking a Quality Engineer in Tanner, Alabama to develop quality standards and oversee system improvements in adherence to military specifications. The role involves conducting audits, implementing control processes, and coordinating compliance efforts.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in English. Additional knowledge of ISO and statistical control methods is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
This position develops and supports product quality system improvements and leads efforts to develop, maintain and deploy quality plans and activities that translate customer requirements into planned activities. This position plans and directs activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards by providing technical support, related to corrective actions, process control, statistical analysis, customer complaints, component validation, product measurement and testing, product launch, certification and audits.
