About the Opportunity
- Ensure manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and quality management processes comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards and customer requirements.
- Lead resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and improve audit systems, quality documentation, and cross-functional quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and quality management processes to ensure compliance with internal, customer, supplier, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal, supplier, product, and component audit systems.
- Plan, execute, and follow up on audits, nonconformities, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead quality issue resolution activities, including containment, RMAs, sorting, warranty investigations, and field failure analysis.
- Perform structured root cause analysis and corrective action processes using methodologies such as 8D.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through quality metrics, trend analysis, and process effectiveness evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, including PPAP and SESPA activities for new products and process changes.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and customers to improve product and process performance.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready quality documentation, procedures, reports, and corrective action records.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Quality
- 5+ years of experience across multiple quality functions in a process-driven manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), inspection methods, and manufacturing quality controls.
- 5+ years of experience with supporting or conducting internal, supplier, product, and component audits, including planning through closure.
- 5+ years of experience with managing quality issues across internal operations, suppliers, and customers, including containment and corrective actions.
- 5+ years of experience in documenting, presenting, and communicating quality information for audits, management reviews, and decision-making.
What Sets You Apart:
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ability to apply requirements to manufacturing, inspection, supplier, and customer processes.
- Proficiency in quality and process improvement tools, including 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of customer-specific and divisional quality requirements, including PPAP and SESPA deliverables for new products and changes.
- Ability to evaluate and demonstrate process and system effectiveness using objective evidence and data.
- Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical quality information across cross-functional teams (e.g., Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety, Supply Chain).
- Self-directed, organized, and capable of working independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate in English.

- This role involves a mix of desk-based engineering tasks, on-site inspections, and interaction with manufacturing processes, requiring moderate physical activity in varied environments.
- Hand and Finger Use/Dexterity: Uses hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls occasionally to moderately (30‑40% of the time), with manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness for tasks like sketching, operating computers, or handling small tools; near vision needed for detailed drawings or screens.
- Standing/Walking: Traverses moderate distances or remains in an upright stationary position frequently (30‑40% of the time) to inspect production lines, collaborate with teams, or evaluate equipment on the shop floor.
- Bending/Twisting/Reaching: Positions self by bending, twisting, or stretching the body occasionally (20‑30% of the time) to access equipment, inspect machinery, or reach workstations; moderate flexibility needed.
