Job summary

Adecco in Ashland, PA seeks a Quality Engineer to support quality initiatives and ensure processes meet customer requirements by controlling production, analyzing defects, and driving continuous improvement in foundry operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, ISO experience, Six Sigma belt, and 3–5 years of foundry or manufacturing experience, with the team coordinating audits, calibrations, and cross‑functional improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and ISO experience.
  • Six Sigma belt certification preferred; 3–5 years foundry/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, and procedural documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor quality control systems and manufacturing processes for effectiveness.
  • Lead internal ISO team and drive corrective actions.
  • Analyze data and recommend process improvements.
  • Perform internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with departments and outside contractors to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure calibration of M&T equipment and instruments.
