Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Project Engineer in Ashland, PA to plan and execute engineering projects supporting high‑quality casting production. You will bridge engineering, tooling, metallurgy, manufacturing, quality and customers to deliver new products and cost improvements.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in metallurgical/materials/mechanical engineering, 3+ years foundry experience, and hands‑on CAD/simulation proficiency with MAGMASOFT and ProCAST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years foundry operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with molding systems, induction melting, and alloy solidification.
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., MAGMASOFT, ProCAST).
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing for pattern creation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects for high-quality castings.
• Design, implement, and refine casting processes and gating/riser systems.
• Monitor defects and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, tooling, metallurgy, manufacturing, quality, and customers.
• Manage project timelines and cross-functional communication.
