Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support modernization in the Cold Center Module Center. You will drive quality improvements, integrate new technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust inspection methods and manufacturability in new designs.

The role emphasizes data analysis, quality systems expertise, and implementing corrective actions across F135 modernization trials, with onsite work in Middletown, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Quality, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver measurable product quality improvements.
• Strong organizational and priority management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement new equipment and cutting-edge technologies.
• Provide quality insights and recommendations to support DFM and DFI principles, ensuring manufacturability and effective inspection.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues related to F135 modernization trials and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with engineering teams to develop and validate robust inspection methodologies for new and redesigned components.
• Support the evaluation and redesign of feedback loops based on current state process capability to drive continuous improvement.
• Support Quality Engineering functions for Class I or II engineering changes, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
