Job summary

RTX is seeking a process/manufacturing engineer to support Pratt & Whitney’s F135 West Palm Beach Aftermarket facility. You will develop and maintain maintenance process instructions for disassembly, repair, assembly and testing of gas-turbine engines, interpret technical data, and ensure compliance with workscopes.

You will gain experience in gas-turbine maintenance, standard work development, hardware configuration verification and SAP, while applying Environmental, Health & Safety best

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required; or 4 years of process, assembly or manufacturing engineering experience on gas‑turbine engines in lieu of a degree is required.
• 2+ years (with a degree) of process, assembly or manufacturing engineering experience on gas‑turbine engines.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Willingness to work 1st shift, work overtime when needed, and respond to off‑hours process questions.

Responsibilities

• You will support Pratt & Whitney’s F135 West Palm Beach Aftermarket facility by developing and maintaining maintenance process engineering instructions that enable the disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas‑turbine engines.
• Interpret technical data, issue instructions packages for the compliance of workscope requirements, approve complex work control documents, and ensure hardware configuration accuracy.
• Participate in investigations of process breakdowns, implement corrective actions, create and improve standard work, assist mechanics with new technical data, and support other MRO production lines as needed to meet delivery schedules.
