Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract in Portage, MI. You will own product and supplier quality issues through CAPA and nonconformance closure and support audits and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years in quality roles, with familiarity with ISO 13485, GDP and GMP, CAPA, risk management, audits and statistics. This onsite opportunity offers hands-on medical device manufacturing quality exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 0-2 years in a quality or regulatory affairs role.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, GDP and GMP; understanding of CAPA, risk management, audits and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage internal and supplier nonconformances through investigation and closure, including MRB disposition.
• Support or own CAPAs from root cause analysis to closure.
• Communicate with suppliers and accelerate supplier corrective action requests (SCARs).
• Maintain and analyze quality KPIs and apply statistical methods to identify trends.
• Provide quality support for audits, validations and manufacturing transfers.
