Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Quality Engineer in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous quality improvement in a regulated medical device environment. The role focuses on quality systems, CAPA, inspections, and process validation.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3+ years in quality engineering, and experience with precision measurement and customer interactions. Competitive salary and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with internal and external customers and precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support quality activities across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans for new and existing products.
• Lead CAPA and MRB processes.
• Support validation activities for processes and products.
• Develop PFMEA and Control Plans, and SPC programs.
• Train staff on quality procedures and inspection standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to standardize inspection methods.
