Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC near Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead QA and process excellence for the fabrication and integration of battery energy storage enclosures at a contract manufacturer.

You will drive audits, root cause analysis, supplier quality management, and cost reduction initiatives, collaborating with engineering, operations and procurement to ensure top quality and compliant manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in battery energy storage or related industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance processes to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Develop and execute strategies to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining quality.
• Maintain supplier quality management and ensure CM adherence to Fluence standards.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
