Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Coopersville manufacturers to identify experienced Quality Engineers who will develop and implement quality control procedures, analyze data, and drive improvements to meet stringent specifications. This role focuses on ensuring product excellence through cross-functional collaboration and proactive quality management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
3+ years experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in SPC, root cause analysis, and other quality methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Experience with metrology, inspection equipment, and interpretation of technical drawings (GD&T).

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
Monitor production processes and product quality to ensure compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform statistical analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Participate in the design and development of new products to ensure manufacturability and quality.
Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems.
