Job summary

Acro Service Corp in East Moline, IL is seeking a manufacturing/engineering professional to lead continuous improvement projects across safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and ergonomics.

The role requires reading prints, CMM reports, and shop floor documentation, plus experience with SAP, MPPlanner, and MES systems. You will support revisions to current operations and drive closed loop corrective actions, including torque tooling and union environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing assembly and welding in a production setting.
• Ability to read prints, CMM reports, and measurement data.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both salaried and wage personnel.
• Experience with shop floor documentation (S.O.E., PFMEA, Operator Methods Sheets).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and ergonomics for the department.
• Establish process controls, tooling, assembly methods, OMS, and control plans for revisions to current operations.
• Work with SAP and MPPlanner to perform engineering functions.
• Drive Closed Loop corrective action for assembly/weld build issues.
