Job summary

More Than A Bakery seeks a Quality Engineer to lead a QA team and act as a liaison between customers, Operations and Engineering. You will drive statistical improvements, quality cost analysis, and compliance across the facility to sustain quality performance.

You will develop procedures, manage holds/releases, with emphasis on audit readiness and continuous improvement, collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Food Safety to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience, machining, and/or quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support the Quality Assurance team of technicians.
• Serve as the liaison among Operations, Engineering, and customers regarding specifications, quality requirements, and customer concerns.
• Ensure manufacturing operations comply with customer and internal specifications.
• Participate in customer audits and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Train employees on quality compliance, inspection methods, procedures, QMS requirements, customer expectations, and regulatory issues.
• Develop and maintain electronic quality reports and presentations.
• Actively support continuous-improvement activities and team meetings while maintaining accountability for results.
• Coordinate process improvements and verify sustained results.
• Support audits and follow-up actions with customers and regulatory bodies.
