Job summary

Aberdeen, SD-based Quality Engineer position at 3M offers opportunity to apply statistical methods, CAPA leadership, and QMS deployment across global teams. You will collaborate with diverse professionals and drive quality improvements from development through production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in science, engineering, math, or technical discipline from an accredited institution.
At least 1 year of experience in engineering, quality, or similar technical role.
Lean Six Sigma familiarity (nice to have)
ISO 13485, IATF-16949, AS9100, or ISO 9001 audit experience (nice to have)

Responsibilities

Assure compliance to internal procedures and customer requirements.
Represent customer, evaluate complaints, samples and trends, and determine actions.
Lead CAPA, Risk Management, QMS initiatives and deployment.
Assist deployment of SPC to control KPIs.
Develop new test methods and validate tests for products.
Participate in internal/external quality audits.
Provide change management oversight for changes to products/processes.
Support process engineering team.
