The Pivot Group Network is actively seeking a Quality Engineer in Caledonia, MI to develop and maintain robust QA processes. You will conduct root cause analyses, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with design and production teams to assure quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include leading quality audits, implementing inspection plans, and applying statistical methods to improve Yields and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
3+ years quality engineering in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, PPAP).
Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience with ISO 9001 or similar QMS.

Bonus Qualifications

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other ASQ certifications
Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies
Familiarity with specific industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485 for medical devices, IATF 16949 for automotive)
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
