BLUvera, Mortenson’s affiliate, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure new products and processes meet strict quality, reliability, and customer requirements. The role partners with engineering, operations, production, and project teams to establish quality processes, analyze performance, and drive improvements.

You will help build quality systems from the ground up, solve complex problems, and influence manufacturing methods, working cross-functionally to address root causes and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of experience within design, engineering, or construction.
• Self‑starter, independent worker with computer literacy.
• Active listening and effective communication, including openness to diverse input.

Responsibilities

• Foster teamwork and promote diversity on projects.
• Build cross-cultural relationships and resolve conflicts.
• Serve as a technical resource for project staff.
• Implement the Quality Management Plan across divisions from notice to proceed to final acceptance.
• Oversee material quality inspections and identify non-conformances.
• Manage NCN and RFI processes through corrective actions.
• Train project personnel on quality processes and Mortenson’s Quality System.
• Collaborate with customers, architects, and engineers to ensure design documents meet requirements.
• Capture best practices and identify opportunities to improve margins and reduce risk.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels to sustain relationships.
