Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 21+ years?
• 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience focused on continuous process improvement.
• Experience with equipment maintenance, process improvement, and product design.
• Understanding of construction scopes (framing, electrical, exterior finishes, interior finishes).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and root cause analysis skills.
• Proven problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and change management activities.
• Familiar with electrical systems and UL compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Leads engineering process improvement of plant operations with safety, quality, and environmental teams.
• Develops and improves manufacturing processes; documents changes.
• Implements process control techniques and procedures.
• Analyzes process flow for safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborates on tooling and design for production methods.
• Designs processes for enhancements and new products with low cost and zero defects.
• Provides hands-on maintenance and engineering support to troubleshoot issues.
• Implements preventive maintenance tasks.
• Trains production staff on technical topics.
• Documents tool drawings and design concepts.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Applies lean methodologies to achieve plant goals.
• Builds relationships across the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
