Qualifications

5 to 7 years of quality or manufacturing engineering experience in heavy container, industrial enclosure, or BESS manufacturing.
Deep knowledge of U.S. welding codes (e.g., AWS D1.1) and formal weld inspection methodologies.
Strong proficiency updating fabrication drawings in AutoCAD based on production quality changes and engineering revisions.
Availability to start ASAP in the Houston, TX area.

Responsibilities

Update engineering drawings in AutoCAD to reflect quality updates, non-conformance corrections, and changes.
Develop, implement, and oversee weld inspection processes to verify compliance with US welding codes.
Troubleshoot fabrication floor quality issues and manage corrections related to materials, structural integrity, and weld defects.
Verify quality and integration of HVAC systems for BESS thermal management.
Audit production floor, perform root-cause analysis, and update SOPs to prevent quality escapes.
