Job summary

ENERCON is expanding its Corporate Quality organization and seeks a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Management System across a diverse portfolio of work. The role embeds quality into processes and deliverables from inception through execution, with the possibility of remote work within the US for senior candidates.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in quality assurance in regulated or engineering environments, lead auditor experience, and strong auditing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 6+ years quality assurance experience in regulated or engineering environments.
• Experience auditing engineering design packages, internal processes, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of 10 CFR Part 21, 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B, ASME/ANSI NQA-1, and ISO 9001.
• Lead Auditor experience preferred; NQA-1 Subpart 3.1 qualification preferred.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, auditing techniques, and corrective action processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering technical documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Auditing internal operations, suppliers, and project execution activities.
• Reviewing purchase orders, contracts, and agreements to ensure flow-down of quality requirements.
• Reviewing and improving quality procedures to support the Quality Management System.
• Prepare and manage Corrective Action Reports and verify corrective action effectiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations teams to resolve quality issues.
