Job summary

NWI Aerostructures in Nashville, TN is seeking a Quality Engineer (Audit & QA) to lead internal and external audits and manage AS9100/Nadcap processes across machining, painting, forming, and assembly. You will coordinate audit schedules, track corrective actions, and report findings to senior management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a lead auditor, engineering or technical background, and proficiency with Epicor ERP and Visio.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with strong emphasis on Manufacturing Quality Control and Audits.
• Certified Lead Auditor training preferred.
• 5+ years in a lead auditor role with QA systems knowledge.
• Experience with quality systems, corrective action, and statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external audits and report audit findings.
• Coordinate and schedule audits across departments including suppliers.
• Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
• Lead meetings for audit finding status actions and review them.
• Ensure conformance to AS9100/ISO9001 and Nadcap requirements.
• Provide coaching to audit team members and drive continuous improvement.
