Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking a Quality Engineer to support and improve aerospace quality systems and manufacturing processes. You will be a key contact for quality issues across internal teams, customers, suppliers, and third-party auditors.

The ideal candidate has extensive aerospace quality experience, with AS9100/NADCAP exposure, GD&T, and advanced problem-solving skills, including FMEA and 8D methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing Quality Engineering experience in aerospace preferred.
• Experience working with customers and suppliers on quality matters.
• Experience with AS9100 and NADCAP quality systems.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing quality requirements.
• Experience with audits (internal, supplier, customer).
• Familiarity with GD&T, metrology, and calibration.
• Ability to analyze data and apply statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve the Quality Management System.
• Serve as primary quality contact for internal teams, customers, suppliers, and auditors.
• Investigate nonconformances and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Perform root cause analysis using 5 Why, 8D, FMEA, and SPC tools.
• Monitor corrective actions for effectiveness over time.
• Develop and revise quality procedures, inspection standards, and documentation.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
• Lead quality-system improvement initiatives in aerospace manufacturing.
• Review orders and specifications to ensure proper flow-down of quality requirements.
