Job summary

Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer in Moline, IL for a 12-month engagement. The role focuses on hands-on quality engineering support for final assembly, issue investigation, containment, and corrective actions to improve process controls and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Product Engineering, with experience in Lean and ISO 9001 environments preferred. Bachelor’s in Engineering required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in manufacturing or quality/process engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills with ability to implement corrective actions.
• Able to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on quality engineering support for final assembly operations.
• Serve as primary contact for operators on quality concerns and production issues.
• Investigate manufacturing and product quality issues on the shop floor and drive timely resolution.
• Lead containment and root cause investigations for quality problems.
• Develop, implement, and monitor corrective actions to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and factory performance meetings.
• Evaluate and improve manufacturing process controls and quality standards.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Management, Product Engineering, and inspection teams to reduce defects and strengthen quality culture.
