Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Production/Operations Analyst to help optimize manufacturing processes and align daily schedules with capacity and demand.

Responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics, learning production processes, applying Lean principles, identifying quality defects trends, and collaborating with manufacturing, engineering and cross-functional teams to reduce non-value-added work and improve cost, flow, safety and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field such as Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Economics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance to daily schedules or orders.
• Learn production processes to ensure correct sequencing and resource alignment.
• Identify safety and ergonomic issues and work to reduce or eliminate them.
• Identify quality defect trends via root cause analysis and provide recommendations.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce non-value-added work and improve cost and flow.
• Support disruption recovery planning by analyzing capacity and constraints.
• Help stabilize current production while planning for rate changes and new models.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and production-support teams; be a self-starter and team player.
