Arrive Logistics is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and execute exploratory tests ensuring product quality. You will design manual tests, debug issues, review requirements, and track QA metrics to support timely product launches.

This role involves collaborating with developers and product managers, contributing to test plans, and ensuring software runs smoothly while remaining cost-effective in a fast-paced environment in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software QA or IT related field.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to write clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and processes.
• Some experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Some experience with automated testing strategies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience with API testing and non-functional testing (performance/stress).

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide timely feedback.
• Analyze, solve, and resolve issues in real time and provide end-to-end resolution.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with team to ensure stability and meet company needs.
• Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities.
• Understand automation scripts used by QA Automation for the team.
• Prioritize and adapt test cases for automation suites.
• Identify, record, and track bugs (Jira) and own team’s bugs.
• Identify high-risk changes before integration into main version.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
• Liaise with developers and product managers to identify system requirements.
• Deliver feedback and participate in Scrum activities.
