QUALITY ENGINEER

AUTOMOTIVE PARTS MANUFACTURING

0-5 Years Experience

Looking for a Quality Engineer to work on customer quality, audits, quality improvement, APQP, problem solving, and new product launch.

Job Function

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for identifying and addressing quality issues, conducting audits, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
The candidate will also be responsible for completing PPAP submissions to customers and tracking progress of quality initiatives using APQP, Problem Solving - 8D, 5 Why, and other tools in IATF 16949.
Manage Scorecards, IATF 16949 and Layered Audits.
Maintain quality related project | program status, particularly new project launch quality.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should have 0-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the automotive industry. Recent college graduates with a degree in engineering and an interest in quality assurance are welcome to apply.
0-5 years experience in Quality at an automotive parts or OEM.
BSME or BSIE.
Knowledge in the following is a plus - Familiarity with AIAG base quality standards - TS 16949, PPAP etc. (or Toyota Production System - TPS Quality or Honda Production Methods - HPM Quality) and know how to track projects progress - aspects of program management.
Prior experience in internal quality, customer quality, or launch quality or program management role related to quality or internship in Quality is a plus.
