Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Quality Engineer to own quality systems, customer requirements, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will drive APQP/PPAP, collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing, and lead audits and corrective actions to optimize process capability and product quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in manufacturing/ automotive.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans, and quality management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP and PPAP activities for new and revised programs, ensuring customer approvals.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns, driving timely resolution.
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to establish inspection methods, testing requirements, and quality standards.
• Work with suppliers to improve quality performance, certifications, and process capability.
• Develop and maintain control plans, analyze CP, CPK, PPM, and Cost of Quality to identify improvements.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate internal audits, including IATF 16949, BIQS, and ISO 14001 compliance.
• Oversee material testing and certification processes.
• Train team on quality best practices and foster continuous improvement.

We're looking for a Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality systems, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
