Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Raymond Team in Greene, NY. You will evaluate and resolve technical problems with Operations, Engineering and Suppliers, while driving quality across electro-mechanical assemblies and software for embedded systems.

The role emphasizes development of QMS processes, documentation-driven issue resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver large, impactful projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, computer science, or professional license.
• Ability to interpret GD&T engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of quality systems used in manufacturing or software development.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, MS Project).
• Experience with Toyota Production Systems.
• Experience with Part Production Approval Process.
• Understanding of lean techniques and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality techniques to electro-mechanical assemblies, fabrication, welding, harnesses, and materials.
• Develop processes and procedures for Quality Management Systems.
• Evaluate quality issues and develop documented solutions.
• Understand manufacturing processes across electronics and mechanical assemblies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
• Lead and contribute to large quality system projects.
• QA for software development related to embedded systems and telematics.
• Serve as QA lead for alternate energy storage systems and AGVs.

WhatYou'llBe Doing:

• Use extensive technical skills,expertise, and knowledge of quality techniques as applied to electro-mechanicalassemblies,fabrication, weldingtechniques,harnesses and cables, and formulated materials.
• Develop processes/procedures for Quality Management systems
• Evaluate technical quality issues and develop solutions with documentation provided
• Understandmanufacturing processes withexpertisein electronics, electronic assemblies,harnesses,mechanical assemblies as well as fabricated, machined, and welded parts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
• Be a key member of the team in completion and resolution of large, consequential quality system projects.
• Be knowledgeable in quality assurance for software developmentpertaining toembedded systems, and telematics.
• You'llbe the go-to for quality assurance for alternate energy storage systems and auto-guided vehicles.

WhatYour Total Compensation & Benefits Package willlook like:

Salary-$64,440- $94,667 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
