The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality inspections, developing quality standards, and conducting internal audits within a manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the consistency, safety, and quality of our products by executing and maintaining robust quality systems. The Quality Assurance Engineer will serve as a key contributor to process improvement initiatives, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, supporting the organization’s commitment to excellence. This position is suitable for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or control, holding a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and eager to grow into leadership roles within the company.
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline. Certification in quality management, such as CQE, CQA, or Green Belt, is preferred and should be obtained within the first year of employment. Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing setting, including proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on quality metrics, ensuring data accuracy, and identifying trends that necessitate action or escalation. The engineer will execute and uphold site-level quality processes, ensuring compliance with established standards, procedures, and work instructions. Preparing and communicating data analysis insights will support continuous improvement initiatives and decision-making processes. The role also includes applying and maintaining Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, supporting operator understanding, and participating in FMEA development to identify and mitigate risks. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to internal and external audit processes, ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Supporting Lean and Six Sigma projects, the engineer will strive to reduce variability, improve product quality, and increase operational efficiency.
