Job summary

Vibracoustic USA Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen our automotive manufacturing team. You will supervise quality functions, coordinate APQP activities, and help drive PPAP progress with suppliers.

The role requires hands-on experience with AIAG core tools, IATF 16949/ISO 9001, and robust root-cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams. You will collaborate across production, engineering and supplier networks to ensure first-pass

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific automotive requirements.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Strong communication skills across production, engineering, suppliers, and customers.

• Acts as Quality Department liaison with the supplier to investigate quality problems and as a resource to the supplier pertaining to product quality.
• Assists in problem solving activities, both internal and customer-initiated and design and implement corrective actions, both with customers and suppliers, and follow these programs to prevent recurrence.
• Develops and implements corrective actions (8-D) for internal quality and delivery problems.
• Works with manufacturing personnel to effectively implement corrective/preventive actions and to verify effectiveness of those actions.
