Job summary

Mackenzie Stuart is recruiting a Quality Engineer to join our client in Dallas, Texas. This hands-on, onsite role supports inspection, repair, overhaul, and service of heavy-duty gas turbines and rotating equipment to drive quality improvements and compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate will lead root cause investigations, develop QC procedures, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to enhance reliability and repair quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of quality engineering experience within rotating equipment, turbomachinery, power generation, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of quality tools including Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, FMEA, 8D, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience supporting heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, or similar rotating equipment is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement effective process improvements.
