Day to day focus is on working to reduce Quality issues that impact manufacturing with efforts to achieve business results. Work is performed in an Engine component plant environment where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised, as well as a high level of independent judgment. The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment is critical for success in this role. This job is technical in nature.**WHAT YOU'LL DO:**-Support day-to-day Quality needs of Manufacturing-Problem-solve (analyze data, determine root causes, develop implementation plans) and resolve issues which are affecting quality, assembly, or throughput-Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve quality issues-Develop quality work instructions-Ensure effective containment for non-conforming product-Effectively communicate Quality Concerns-Coordinate repair and rework activities-Support the implementation and effective adherence to all elements within the Spring Hill Quality System-Must be available to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**-Bachelor’s Degree or Internal GM Candidate-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Knowledge and ability to comfortably use computers and learn new software**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**-Previous experience as a Manufacturing Quality or Process Engineer-Engineering Degree
