Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical major; Master’s degree a plus.
• 1–2 years preferred in Quality Engineering or technical discipline.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems standards a plus.
• GD&T/Engineering Prints; AutoCAD a plus.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus.
• Lean implementation in production, warehousing and distribution a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, written & verbal.
• Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task; high efficiency and accuracy.
• Travel 10%.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management System oversight and process/procedure development to ISO standards.
• Identify statistical methods to determine quality improvement parameters.
• Enhance inspection processes using statistical confidence and sampling plans.
• Analyze data with hypothesis tests, normal distribution, and capability analyses.
• Develop sampling plans using attribute, variable, and sequential sampling.
• Root cause analyses and CAPA using DMAIC and 8D/5Why tools.
• Address failures, corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints.
• Continuously improve QA receiving inspection processes.
• Assist supplier performance and conduct audits.
• Prepare QA reports.
