Job summary

CFS in Seymour, CT is seeking a Quality Engineer to own quality systems, drive process improvements, and support new product launches in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead corrective actions, monitor SPC/SQC metrics, participate in audits, and collaborate across engineering, operations, and with OEM customers to raise quality standards and deliver cost savings. The role requires hands-on problem solving and data-driven decision making using advanced quality tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development and concurrent engineering activities from a quality perspective.
• Develop and implement process controls, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Monitor quality performance and analyze reporting metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead and manage corrective action processes and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in quality audits and quality clinic activities.
• Report quality trends, losses, and performance metrics to leadership.
