Job summary

Venteon is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for a manufacturing partner near Kansas City, MO. The role emphasizes developing and maintaining quality systems with a strong focus on ISO/IATF standards and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will lead QMS/QOS deployment, drive metrics, and support supplier and manufacturing quality processes while preparing for audits and process optimizations. A data-driven mindset and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Quality Engineering with a Bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a Master’s, or 3 years with a PhD (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Experience with quality data analysis, reporting, and metrics.
• Experience supporting audits (ISO, IATF, VDA); certification a plus.
• Hands-on experience with QMS/QOS implementation, execution, or improvement.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for QMS, QOS, and PMT deployment and sustainment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, stability, and waste reduction.
• Support implementation, validation, training, and optimization of quality systems and tools.
• Gather user feedback and enhance system usability and effectiveness.
• Participate in internal and external audits and follow-up actions.
• Monitor KPIs, identify risks, and support CAPA activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance quality processes and methods.
