The role focuses on leading quality improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, CAPA, and maintaining FMEAs, control plans, SOPs, and inspection plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and SPC.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949; lead auditor a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; communication skills.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer at Danfoss Drives, you will play a key role in strengthening quality systems, improving product reliability, and supporting operational excellence across our facility. In this role, you will work closely with manufacturing, operations, and supplier quality teams to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and industry standards. Your expertise will help reduce defects, improve processes, and create lasting quality improvements that make a measurable impact. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and support quality improvement initiatives, including defect tracking, nonconformance investigations, data analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Facilitate root cause analysis, CAPA activities, and cross‑functional problem‑solving efforts to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Develop, maintain, and improve quality documentation, including FMEAs, Control Plans, SOPs, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Partner with production teams and suppliers to address component and material quality concerns while driving timely and effective resolution.
• Conduct internal audits, support compliance activities, and identify opportunities to strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS) and manufacturing processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related technical field or significant years of experience in Quality.
• Experience with quality engineering tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
• Solid experience with Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949; lead auditor certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $65,000- $95,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
