Job summary

Danfoss Drives in Loves Park, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, delivering information, support, and solutions while building lasting relationships.

You will partner with sales, logistics, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to ensure orders are processed accurately, provide updates on product availability and delivery, and maintain high customer satisfaction daily.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems; experience with SAP, ERP, Fiori is a plus.
• Experience in customer service, order management, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries via calls and emails.
• Support the full order management process: entry, changes, expediting, returns, repairs, and status monitoring.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, manufacturing, and warehouse teams for product availability, delivery schedules, and pricing updates.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key account teams and proactively resolve issues.
• Support performance goals and participate in customer meetings to improve the customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, responding to calls and emails in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.


• Support the full order management process, including order entry, order changes, expediting requests, returns, repairs, and monitoring order status to ensure accurate fulfillment.


• Partner with sales, logistics, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to provide customers with updates on product availability, delivery schedules, pricing, and order progress.


• Build strong relationships with customers and key account teams by proactively addressing concerns, resolving issues, and helping prevent disruptions to customer operations.


• Contribute to team success by supporting performance goals, providing open order reports, participating in customer meetings, and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent, along with experience in customer service, order management, or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with both customers and internal teams.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems; experience with SAP, ERP systems, Fiori, or customer contact center environments is a plus.
