Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to help bring innovative products to market with confidence. You will influence design, testing, and launches, embedding quality at every stage and driving continuous improvement across engineering, operations, and quality teams.

You will analyze field data, lead risk assessments, and ensure process controls and PPAP activities meet the highest standards of quality, contributing to strong product performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles: statistical analysis, root cause investigation, reliability methods, risk assessment, and data analysis.
  • Experience applying ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 standards throughout product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality activities for new product development and product change initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Embed quality best practices with engineering, operations, and quality teams to enable successful launches and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate DFMEA, failure investigations, risk assessments, and engineering change reviews.
  • Monitor product performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Support manufacturing readiness, design transfer, and PPAP activities to ensure high-quality products.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead quality engineering activities for new product development and product change initiatives, ensuring quality and compliance requirements are met from concept through launch.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to embed quality best practices into product development and manufacturing processes, enabling successful product launches and continuous improvement.
  • Drive risk management and design quality efforts by facilitating activities such as DFMEA, failure investigations, risk assessments, and engineering change reviews.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance data, including field trials, post‑market feedback, customer complaints, and reliability metrics, translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Support manufacturing readiness and product validation through design reviews, process controls, PPAP activities, audits, and design transfer activities to ensure products are delivered with the highest standards of quality.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and KPI tracking, using data‑driven approaches to improve product quality, process effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting new product development, product design changes, or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles, including statistical analysis, root cause investigation, reliability methods, risk assessment, and quality data analysis.
  • Experience working with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems, with the ability to apply quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project prioritization skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
