Job summary

Avanciers Incorporated is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 12-month onsite role in Gastonia, NC. The role focuses on material inspection, sheet metal processes, and resolving quality issues through supplier-site inspections and release approvals.

You will document inspection results, support root-cause analysis, coordinate QA/QC requirements, and work with SQE teams and suppliers. Travel to Richmond, VA may be required monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of quality engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with suppliers or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform material inspections at supplier sites and verify materials meet quality requirements.
• Review and approve shipments for release to the Gastonia/Richmond operations.
• Document inspection results, shipment data, photographs, and quality findings.
• Investigate rejected shipments and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Review and coordinate quality assurance and quality control requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures.
• Work with suppliers, SQE teams, and internal stakeholders to address quality concerns.

Job Summary

Seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in material inspection, sheet metal manufacturing processes, and problem solving. The Quality Engineer will perform supplier-site inspections, approve shipments for release, document inspection results, and resolve quality issues involving rejected materials or shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform material inspections at supplier sites and verify materials meet quality requirements.
• Review and approve shipments for release to the Gastonia/Richmond operations.
• Document inspection results, shipment data, photographs, and quality findings.
• Investigate rejected shipments and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Review and coordinate quality assurance and quality control requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures.
• Work with suppliers, SQE teams, and internal stakeholders to address quality concerns.
• Travel to Richmond, VA, approximately once or twice per month as required.
