Job summary

  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer purchase orders and enter requirements into the client job system.
  • Balloon prints, review specifications, and establish specifications and details needed.
  • Monitor and verify quality documentation.
  • Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports IAW AS9102.
  • Disposition nonconforming product.
  • Initiate corrective and preventive action.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers as needed.
  • Generate supplier corrective action requests.
  • Collaborate with inspection, engineering, quality engineering, purchasing, and production to ensure conformance to requirements.
  • Initiate and generate statistical process control on key characteristics.
  • Conduct internal audits.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance.
What Sets You Apart
  • Associate Degree in Quality Engineering.
  • Proficient use of software programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to accurately analyze data.
  • Ability to read technical data and specifications.
  • Experience with AS9100 or other quality management systems
  • Good knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with AS9102 First Article Reports
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Good blueprint reading, including GD&T.
  • Mechanical inspection skills.
  • Knowledge of special processes such as metal finishing and heat treating.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Jobboss or other systems.
  • Familiarity with DISCUS software.
  • Designated Product Release Verification (DPRV) certification.
  • Experience in a fast-paced job shop environment.
  • Knowledge of special processes related to manufacturing.
