Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Engineer in Brookville, PA to drive the plant's quality and CI programs. You will implement quality systems, validate processes, and backfill the Quality Supervisor as needed.

The role requires managing GMP/ISO/SQF frameworks and supporting equipment programming (CMM/AVID/3D printing) across packaging operations, ensuring safe, compliant production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with quality systems and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO 9001 and related standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage/implement quality equipment programming and troubleshooting (CMM, AVID, Infinity).
  • Develop validation/qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ/CQV) for processes and equipment.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities to reduce scrap and increase efficiency.

Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing and driving the core functions of the plant’s quality and continuous improvement systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage / implement / training of quality equipment programming and troubleshooting (CMM, AVID, Infinity). Manages / develops validation / qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ/CQV) for software, injection, printing, and finishing processes. Manage continuous improvement activities (quality improvements, scrap, efficiency, risk review, and other cost savings). Preferred trained black belt. Programming and support using 3D printer. Manage customer specification review / approvals, creates stock specifications, assist with quality agreements. Manage GMP, ISO and SQF quality systems. (ISO 9001, 15378, 13485, SQF, FDA). Manage / support other quality systems (Change control, deviations, CAPA). Back up Quality Supervisor / Manager as needed.
