Job summary

MSI Express Inc. is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage quality documents and records, ensuring SQF compliance across the facility. You will oversee the creation, revision, and distribution of documents, coordinate with operations, and support audits.

The role requires HACCP/SQF experience, familiarity with FDA requirements, and proficiency in Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work with multiple departments, and a willingness to work overtime as needed are

Qualifications

• HACCP certification or equivalent preferred.
• SQF experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Spanish language skills beneficial.
• Ability to read and follow written directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain quality system documentation (HACCP, FDA, SOPs, GMP, SQF).
• Distribute batch and startup sheets; coordinate with materials.
• Prepare and participate in customer and government audits as required.
• Maintain a master list of documents, products, ingredients, and SKUs.
• Develop and maintain SQF, AIB, USDA documentation and related records.
• Incorporate customer, FDA and industry regulations into MSI Express documentation.
• Provide FSQ training materials and conduct FSQ training as needed.
• Identify and draft new SOP/SSOP; oversee drafting, approval, training, and implementation.
